Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a DC area client to find and qualify candidates for their Consulting Engineer position. This is a person who can understand data, from an analytics perspective as well as a mining perspective and be able to come up to speed quickly on new technologies. This person will lead and integrate project efforts involving new and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have experience with technical guidance and be able to lead technical projects. Candidates must have programming experience in Java and/or C++ as well as be familiar with other technologies (e.g. XML, etc…). A security clearance, preferably top secret, is required. Candidates must have db experience using SQL or some query language and at a will have prior experience in coaching/mentoring other software engineers. The client is also looking for experience with engineering cost/benefit analysis to verify potential effectiveness of new projects. Candidates must be able to sell ideas to upper management and establish work standards and guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communications skills both internally & externally and ability to lead and drive system enhancements are prerequisites.Masters degree is preferred.
